So lately I've been drawing for nearly two days in a row and I've been realizing a few things. At least this is what I am thinking.

These are what I think drives to draw:

1. I enjoy drawing for myself or whatever "fandom" (used loosely) that I'm currently into.
2. I like the thought of doing giftart for people as a way to experiment and see their reactions.
3. Commissions, not necessarily about the money aspect, but realizing that I'm "good enough" that people woudl request through paypal. It's also a nice way to "force myself" to try new things not only to learn but also make some side profit. Mainly, it's a confidence booster. XD;
4. Stress relief. Haven't been using it for that purpose lately, but it works when it is.
5. It feels more productive. Playing games (at least to me) doesn't seem to do much but temporary fun. It seems to get old for me after a while.

So this is the tricky part.
I thought doing these freesketches would inspire me to do different things... but it hasn't. I think it has gotten me in a deeper pile of crap / demotivation than ever. I mean, it was fun at first, but it just became more a weight on my shoulders.

No I am not saying that I"m going to drop them... but at this rate, I don't know when I can do them. There are ones I wanna finish, while there are some I am just struggling right now... and I feel like I am not ready to do it.

So I'm going to do those "tests" that I knwo some have done.
I'm going to post this journal here now to ask..

Is this selfish of me to ask? I dont' know, if they don't care enough and just kinda dropped for a slot to get it, I am not sure if it's worth it. Or should I be "responsible" to finish it? I don't know right now.....
